There was a good turn out on Monday, with some good games played despite poor weather to start the day.
Once the sun did come out, the conditions were perfect with everyone enjoying the day, with plenty of laughs and classic shots played.
Jeff Pumpa was the best performed player with three wins and +7 while Jack Clee was on his heels also with three wins and +7.
Jump shots were won by Mavis Peters and Peter Van Der Zande who both finished with one.
Last Wednesday, some of our members travelled to Kyabram for their soup and bun day, we all had a good time.
The winner on the day from our club was Jack Clee, who won four games and 33 hoops, bringing home a basket of fruit as his prize.
Jan Tracy wasn’t too far behind having also won four games and 29 hoops.
The club would like to wish everyone competing in the Rich River doubles this weekend good luck.

Rich River
Sixteen players attended on Thursday of last week to play golf croquet doubles.
Three players won all three of their games, and Carol Borella was the winner with a nett hoop score of +13.
Russ Smyth was runner-up with a hoop score of +11, ahead of Fiona Larcombe on +4.
Kaye Joyce scored a hoop in one.
On Tuesday of this week 19 members played doubles.
Ruth Mole was the winner, the only player to win all three of her games and with a hoop score of +10.
Runner-up was Ian Grant with two games and nett hoop score of +9.
Four club members have passed their referee certification course – Helen Brierley, Anne Dodd, Bev Floyd and Di Smyth.
All are grateful for the hours of training provided by June Hoge, the Goulburn Valley Croquet Association head referee.
The club is holding its inaugural golf croquet handicap doubles tournament this weekend.
Forty players from several clubs will be competing on Saturday and Sunday, and Rich River is looking forward to seeing some highly competitive play.
Visitors and new members are welcome to join golf croquet at Rich River on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a 10.30am start.
