Orange Week full steam ahead

May 15, 2017

WEAR Orange Day is an annual day to recognise and celebrate inclusion in the Echuca-Moama community.

Bright and instantly recognised, orange is the official colour of the One & All Inclusion Project – a ground-breaking initiative shaping a collective community stance that values all walks of life and abilities and embraces ‘inclusion’ for all.

This trailblazing initiative, established in 2009, aims to break down social barriers, build mutual respect and overcome discriminatory attitudes to empower a generation of new leaders with a greater understanding of challenges faced by people living with disability.

One & All does this by creating opportunities for genuine engagement in community life and inclusion for all and has become a fundamental movement across the region.

Wear Orange for One & All Day on Friday is your opportunity to show support for this project and promote there is no limit to the potential of ‘inclusion’ for all in our local community.

All you need to do is dress up, host a party or decorate your business place all in orange – and spread the word and make a donation.

You can share your activities on social media by using the hash tags #oneandall #orangeday #inclusion and encourage others to do the same.
