Echuca Moama Croquet Club's fish and chip luncheon.

Echuca Moama Croquet

ECHUCA Moama croquet had seven players join together for singles on Friday on the courts out from the clubrooms.

It was lovely to play on and enjoy the friendly rivalry with all members.

The winner on the day was Jan Tracy with Beryl Ash runner-up.

On Monday there was a great turn out of players with nine members playing a mix of singles and doubles and three members sitting and enjoying the sunshine.

This was also the day that our new captain Roly Hall organised to have the Blue Pacific sponsored fish and chip lunch (pictured below).

We had Roly’s son Andrew pick up our lunch from the Blue Pacific and join us for our meal, with salads made by our new hostess Sandra.

Thanks for the meal Roly, Andrew, Sandra and the Blue Pacific Fish and Chip Shop.

Winner for the day was John Alstin our new president and runner-up was a new member just starting his croquet career Vince Jessen.

Several players attended Kyabram’s social day on Wednesday this week and normal club days are on Friday and next Monday.
