A MAN accused of breaking into Hungry Jacks in Echuca last week will remain behind bars for the next three weeks.

A MAN accused of breaking into Hungry Jacks in Echuca last week will remain behind bars for the next three weeks.

Noel O’Brien, 44, allegedly broke into the fast food outlet just before midnight on May 10 where he had allegedly stolen multiple items of food.

O’Brien, who lives in Echuca, has been charged with burglary and theft, and he made an appearance in Bendigo Magistrates Court on Friday after being located and arrested at a hotel room in that city the day before.

O’Brien was then remanded in custody until his next appearance, which will be on June 6 in Echuca Magistrates Court.
