Business awards are a blue-ribbon benchmark

APPLICATIONS are now open for the 2017 GMCU Allianz Campaspe Murray Business Awards.

The awards recognise excellence and innovation across a range of business and industry categories including retail, tourism, manufacturing, professional service, professional service (community), trade service, hospitality, new business, agribusiness, home-based, employee of the year and young entrepreneur of the year.

This year’s awards will be held in October and nominations should include a brief overview of the business or employee and why they deserve to win an award as a guide for the judges.

The 2015 winning business of the year was Rochester-based Nichol Trading, one of northern Victoria’s largest independent fertiliser retailers. A family business started in the 1950’s it now spans three generations.
