The Victorian Government has launched a campaign to remind parents to ensure their children are fully immunised before heading back to childcare and school.

CAMPASPE people are being encouraged to provide input into a review of council’s immunisation service and development of the 2018 immunisation calendar by participating in a short survey.

‘‘Community feedback is important to ensure council provides a responsive immunisation service that meets the needs of the community,’’ mayor Adrian Weston said.

‘‘A key part of the immunisation service review is understanding the community’s needs and preferences regarding the timing and location of sessions.

‘‘At present, council runs sessions at 11 locations across the shire, with a range of daytime and evening options and varying frequencies. We want to find out if this current schedule is suitable or if changes need to be made.

‘‘While it is not possible to meet the specific needs of every individual or family, council is committed to tailoring the service as much as possible based on community need and available resources.

Council’s survey closes on July 31.

It is available online at or in hard copy at council customer service centres or immunisation venues.
