CALLING all budding artists — the Echuca-Moama Search and Rescue Squad needs your work.

The Alton Gallery is calling for entries in a fundraising exhibition with all money raised going to the search and rescue squad.

Organiser Veronica Lamb said whoever wanted to contribute was welcome to create whatever they like.

‘‘All they have to do it pick up the 9x5 board from the gallery and paint or draw or whatever on that board as their entry,’’ she said.

‘‘The search and rescue is a worthy local cause who help us out every year and we just want to give back.

‘‘Hopefully we can raise enough money to buy some much needed equipment for them.’’

Simply pick up a board from the Alton Gallery for $8 and deliver your masterpiece back before July 29.

The paintings will be unframed and will be displayed in the exhibition which opens on August 5.

The gallery is open for pick up on Fridays 10am-12.30pm and Saturdays 10am-1pm or contact 0439 460 690.

The Alton Gallery is at 111 Hare St, Echuca.
