THE Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival is just a few weeks away.

THE Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival is just a few weeks away.

Recognised as one of Australia’s best blues music events, the four-day program begins on July 27 and will this year feature more than 40 performers performing in more than 30 venues.

Based around the Echuca Port precinct and spread across the twin towns, the festival is completely free and aims to be the perfect antidote for a case of the winter blues.

This year the organisers hope to see 20,000 people wandering the streets and enjoying performers from across the country.

The weekend kicks off on the Thursday night with The Teskey Brothers at the American Hotel, Toni Swain at Antonios, The Detonators at Gypsy Bar, Geoff Achison at the Star Hotel, Claude Hay at Sunago and trivia with event organiser Peter Williams at the Shamrock Hotel.

The full line-up and band grid is available at www.winterblues.com.au
