There’s nothing grey about this hound

MISTY might be a bit mysterious to begin with but with a bit of love she can be marvellous.

This two-year-old Greyhound mixed breed will melt your heart right from the start.

She was surrendered to the Campaspe Animal Shelter and has been available for adoption for a week.

But don’t let her cautious nature fool you.

Misty is a gentle girl and loves nothing more than to spend her time around her human.

She is an active dog and will need a secure home with high fences — as well as a family that is willing to give her daily walks and plenty of loving.

Although owning a Greyhound is a rewarding experience, there are added responsibilities.

They must always be kept on a lead, even in an off lead park, and must always be walked in a muzzle.

This is unless they earn an exemption from the Greyhound Adoption Program Green Collar Assessment.

Misty is ready to go to her new loving family but to ensure she goes to the right family, make sure you read some further information about Greyhounds at www.gap.grv.org.au
