A KYABRAM man drove through his town’s centre after drinking up to 10 full-strength beers.
Blake Dyer, 24, appeared in Echuca Magistrates Court on Tuesday to plead guilty to drunk driving.
Police prosecutor Senior Constable Dave Rennie said officers intercepted Dyer on Prunus Ct for a routine check on June 13.
A subsequent breath test revealed Dyer, a probationary licence holder, was driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.136.
In court, Dyer had little to say other than apologising for jumping on the bike after drinking.
Magistrate Bruce Cottrill convicted Dyer, fined him $1000 and disqualified him from driving until July next year.
