IN PENNANT this week Echuca-Moama Green was away at Rich River and found it a struggle with a loss four games to Rich River’s eight.

Roly Hall was best for the day with three wins from four games.

Echuca-Moama White were at home to the top team in Deni Diamonds and knew it would be tough work to come away with a win.

We played well but Deni just took the match seven games to EM White five.

We had Beryl Ash, Jan Tracy and Dave Hocking each win two of their four matches.

White is away to Euroa this Thursday and Green has a bye.

Club day on Monday saw 12 players including Russell Smythe and Fiona Larcombe who joined us from Rich River for the day.

Three games of doubles were played on B courts and the winner from our club was Vince Jessen with Russell Smythe also getting a Let’s Do Coffee voucher.

Well done to you both.

We also had a pie or pastie day for lunch, which was enjoyed by all.

Don’t forget on Sunday, September 10, we would like you to come and have a go at croquet at our club.

Flat soled shoes is all you need.
