A SERIAL pest has appealed his six-month jail term over driving offences.

A SERIAL pest has appealed his six-month jail term over driving offences.

Rochester’s Christopher Langdon-Avis, 27, was sentenced in Moama Local Court on Wednesday after pleading guilty to driving while disqualified and using an unregistered vehicle.

Langdon-Avis was caught driving an unregistered car while his licence was disqualified on June 14 at Deniliquin.

Magistrate Roger Clisdell sentenced Langdon-Avis to six months’ prison with no parole and disqualified him from driving for two years.

His appeal date has been set for October 16 at Griffith District Court.

An appeal is also pending for a charge of possessing a prohibited drug.
