NATHALIA’S GRAIN Store is calling for applications for classical musicians and students interested in participating in a Masterclass with the Waratah String Quartet from Orchestra Victoria.

The Masterclass will be part of an afternoon of classical music which will include a concert by the internationally acclaimed quartet on Sunday, October 15.

The project is part of The GRAIN Store’s spring performance program which has been funded by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.

Project producer Ken Wong said he was proud to be able to bring this exciting concert and opportunity to local musicians.

‘‘We have already had great interest from musicians across the Goulburn Murray region, but we are calling for applications to allow a broad cross section of local musicians to participate,’’ he said. ‘‘For this reason we have recently extended the closing date for applications until Monday, September 18.”

Application forms are available by emailing [email protected] or phone Ken Wong on 0419570846.
