Home is where the heart (and Ned) live

THIS week we have something special for you.

Meet Ned, a four-year-old male, desexed, Bull Arab mixed breed dog who was surrendered and is available for adoption at the Campaspe Animal Shelter.

Ned is a very sweet natured, excitable young adult dog who isn’t always aware of his size.

When he gets excited, Ned becomes very bouncy and without meaning too, may accidentally knock over a small child.

It is therefore recommended that Ned is supervised around young families.

Being a larger breed, Ned will require a home with a large yard and high, secure fencing.

While he has had some minor training, there is no doubt Ned would greatly benefit from some more.

He is a dog that would be best suited to homes with an experienced owner who is dedicated to attending obedience classes.

Twice daily walks and runs plus plenty of things to do will help keep Ned entertained and minimise the chances of him becoming bored and destructive.

With plenty of affection to share, Ned is sure to make someone a loving and loyal companion.

Young Ned will be available for adoption in about a week for $355. If you would like to meet Ned, or find out more about him, please speak to a member of the Campaspe Animal Shelter staff team by calling 5480 3005.
