A LEGENDARY music concert by Australian rockabilly pioneer Lonnie Lee will feature at Echuca Paramount as part of the 2017 Seniors Week celebrations on Friday, October 13.
The concert headlined by ‘Australia’s own Elvis Presley’ will feature his chart-topping hits, including Starlight Starbright (1959), Ain’t It So (1959), Yes Indeed I Do (1960), I Found New Love (1960) and many more classics.
Bookings are essential as these concerts book out quickly.
There are many other events and discounts available across Campaspe Shire during Seniors Week, which runs from Monday to Friday next week.
Campaspe Shire community care manager Janelle Wheatley said the event celebrated the valuable contributions seniors provided to the community.
‘‘The week is a time to offer our senior citizens opportunities to join together and try new things to remain active within the community,’’ she said.
During the week, free public transport for all Victorian Seniors Card holders is available across the state.
‘‘The free eight-day travel offer is a great opportunity for our senior community to get out and explore regional Victoria and Melbourne,’’ Ms Wheatley said.
