AT CROQUET pennant this week, Echuca Moama Green travelled to Deni to play the top-ranked Deni Diamonds.

They relished the chance to take on the top team, with a very good result taking the game six-all but EM had 70 hoops to Deni Diamonds’ 64.

Best today was Vince Jessen with three wins out of four. His teammates said he’s holding the team together well.

Echuca Moama White went to Numurkah to take on the Numurkah White team.

Our games were even all the way with the result not found until the last two doubles, which were won by Numurkah White giving them the win seven games to five.

Both Jeff Pumpa and Raewyn Taylor got two games of four each.

Club day this week had seven members. We played three games of singles. Beryl Ash was the winner and Jeff Pumpa was runner-up.

We had some members travel to Albury to play in doubles competition the first weekend and singles last weekend.

Trevor Peters had a great time in the singles winning the competition with seven wins. Trevor played against some strong players. Well done Trevor.
