IT WAS an emotional first birthday celebration for Endota Spa Echuca on Wednesday night.

The business took out the best new business award and owner Jacinta Cannon was ‘‘lost for words’’.

‘‘We turn one at the end of the month and what a way to take out our first birthday,’’ she said.

‘‘I could not have made it here without my team of eight gorgeous girls who work tirelessly.

‘‘I am so exceptionally proud of what we have achieved.

‘‘And of course I need to thank my husband Mick.

‘‘We upped our entire world to do this and after the long hours and a huge 12 months, this is just the icing on the cake.’’

Jacinta said the spa aimed to transport clients to a euphoric space that ignited calm, invited relaxation and rejuvenated the spirit.

The spa boasts two dedicated relaxation lounges and six treatment rooms, including three doubles and a group therapy room.

Jacinta also made a point of congratulating CLRS on its award for professional service community.

‘‘It is well-deserved and something our family really appreciates,’’ she said.

■Finalists were Creating Connections Australia, Luca Solutions and The Sweet Meadow.
