AN AMAZING group of staff are the drivers behind the success of Echuca’s I Want, I Need, according to owner Lisa Cox.

The popular High St store offers a broad range of homewares, gifts and clothes.

In October, the business shifted into the old art furniture store across from the Colonial Bank Building where it set up shop in 2014.

The new premises is more spacious and customers have benefited from a wider range of items on offer.

In accepting the award for excellence in retail, Lisa said the staff were more like family than employees.

‘‘They treat the business like their own,’’ Lisa said.

‘‘They all gel and it is just the best environment.

‘‘Always thinking about our customers and what they want has allowed us to expand.

‘‘We are thankful to be part of this great event and we’re honoured to win against such wonderful businesses.’’

■Finalists were Helloworld Travel Echuca, Love From Indie, Moama Post Office and Pacdon Park.
