COMMUNITY Living and Respite Service’s Suzanna Barry believed it was a simple formula for the success of the community organisation.

In accepting the award for best professional community service, Ms Barry said it was the passion and dedication of staff that drove the organisation forward.

With a motivated team of 170 employees and 100 volunteers, CLRS is dedicated to flexible service provision to assist people with disability to live the life they choose.

The dedicated staff provide enriching opportunities and assistance to progress personal goals and develop skills, increasing independence at home and in the community.

‘‘We are delighted to win this award, but we couldn’t do it without the continued support of our amazing staff, local businesses and the community,’’ Ms Barry said.

‘‘This reflects on the hard work put in by the staff and volunteers. They go above and beyond.’’

■Finalists were Campaspe Cohuna Local Learning and Employment Network and Echuca Regional Health.
