LEGENDARY US guitarist Bo Jenkins will perform at the Tara’s Hall Hotel on Saturday.
Set to entertain his guests with ‘‘southern rock’in-rootsy country blues and music’’, if you like your music authentic then Jenkins is not to be missed.
His music reflects the richness of a life playing on riverboats and in the bars and clubs in the famous Mississippi Delta region, which has bred legends including Johnny Cash, Sonny Boy Williamson, Elvis Presley and Charlie Rich.
Jenkins has spent years playing with big names from B.B King to Reba McIntyre.
He has also performed at most major music festivals including Byron Bay Blues and Roots, Gympie Muster and Thredbo Blues Festival.
Jenkins is a left-handed up side down player, incorporating lots of slide guitar and favours ‘‘Aussie brands’’ such as Maton and Cargill.
Don’t miss the opportunity to see him when he performs at 130 Pakenham Street from 7pm.
