EM Green outshine Gems

November 01, 2017

WITH pennant games running over previous weeks, EM Green made the journey this round to take on Deniliquin Gems.

It was a successful road trip, with EM Green taking the win, 71 hoops to Gems 67 in a six-all match.

This follows on from Green’s previous weeks trip to Numurkah to take on the White team.

Green again were successful, claiming a seven to five win, with Vince Jessen claiming four individual wins.

EM White did not have the same fortune in their road game against Numurkah Blue, going down four games to eight.

Last week the side engaged in a very tight game with Shepparton, getting pipped on the post 67 hoops to 70 in a six-all game.

Both Beryl Ash and Dave Hocking claimed three individual games each from their four played.

For the upcoming pennant round, the club travels to Deniliquin, as EM White takes on the Diamonds, while EM Green challenges Rich River.

On the October 23 club play, John Alstin took victory ahead of Mavis Peters.

On the 30th, Jan Tracy took the win from runner-up Trevor Peters.

Please note as of next week, November 6, starting time will be at 9:30am, with a 9am arrival.
