THE Cohuna Swimming Pool is opening its gates for the season today.
The pool, managed by Gannawarra Shire, will open between 3pm and 7pm for the month of November before extending the hours to 10am – 8pm for the summer months.
There will be the flexibility to open later on extreme hot weather days.
This season there will again be a Weather Temperature Policy in place with outside pools closed if the temperature is 21C or below.
The waterslide will operate Friday to Sunday and will be free of charge.
Children under five, or under 1.2m tall, must be accompanied by an adult.
Pool entry fees have not changed with general adult admission at $4.50 and a child $3.50.
Children under three are free as is the use of the waterslides and the inflatable pool toys.
Season tickets are available to purchase at the Cohuna Customer service centre or can be purchased from the pool once the season starts.
Patrons are advised that this year on entry to the pool, you will be required to have your tag scanned with an electronic scanner, so you must bring your tag with you when you attend the pool.
