Exhibition gives view of life in East Timor

THE Campaspe East Timor Association in Friendship (CETAF) is holding a photographic exhibition in conjunction with the Campaspe Regional Library.

THE Campaspe East Timor Association in Friendship (CETAF) is holding a photographic exhibition in conjunction with the Campaspe Regional Library.

CETAF raises money for people in East Timor and has funded projects such as wind turbines and scholarships for students.

The exhibition, called Faces of Timor Leste, will include a guest speaker — Dr. Helen Hill of the National University of Timor.

There will also be local CETAF members who have recently returned from Timor Leste.

Afternoon tea is available at this free event.

Faces of Timor Leste opens on Sunday, November 19 at 2pm and runs until November 30.

The exhibition is being held at the Echuca library in Hare St.
