Court appearance over crime spree
TWO people arrested over the recent crime spree across Echuca’s central business district have appeared in court.
Joshua Moss-Blake, 24, and Debbie Louise Mills, 30, appeared in Bendigo Magistrates Court on Friday charged with more than 30 offences between them.
They include burglary, theft, going equipped to steal, committing an indictable offence on bail and breaching bail and relate to burglaries over the past two weeks.
Moss-Blake, who is facing 27 charges, was remanded in custody to appear in Echuca Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
In her client’s absence, defence lawyer Elricia Schoeman had his matter adjourned to the same court on December 19 for further mention.
Mills, who is facing six charges as well as 13 other offences including burglary, theft, obtain property by deception and theft of a motor vehicle relating to previous alleged incidents, was remanded in custody to appear in Bendigo Magistrates Court on November 30.
The Echuca pair were arrested on November 16; one in Ogilvie Ave and the other in Leichardt St.
