Benny Walker on board the Pride of the Murray.

BENNY Walker and River Paddlesteamers are teaming up with Community Living and Respite Services to launch the fundraising for ‘Opening Doors Moama’.

This next CLRS project will be another community led initiative to purpose build specialist supported accommodation for people with physical and intellectual disabilities who require 24 hour assistance and/or have high support needs.

Similar to the recently completed Echuca Opening Doors project, the Moama initiative will be built in Maiden St to the highest of standards, enabling the homes to be adapted to meet the changing needs of residents.

From 3pm on Saturday December 9, the paddlesteamer horns will sound on the Pride of the Murray for the two-hour cruise.

Pacdon Park and Cadell Food Service are providing delicious savouries with Benny’s smooth voice and rhythmic tunes set to entertain the 60 aboard.

Passengers have the opportunity to win two passes to the sold out Riverboats Music Festival by purchasing a raffle ticket when booking. Only 20 tickets are left so jump online and book at murrayriverpaddlesteamers.com.au/bookings/
