WARRANTS have been issued for the arrest of three people charged over an aggravated burglary in Kyabram which saw memorabilia and cash stolen while an elderly woman slept.

Kim Anne Hensel, 34, Susan Margaret Doolan, 55, and Dean Adam Cachia, 30, all of Kyabram, failed to appear in Echuca Magistrates Court on Tuesday last week, with magistrate Michael King issuing the arrest warrants.

Hensel is charged with handling stolen property, negligently dealing with proceeds of crime, possessing a drug of dependence and committing an indictable offence while on bail, Doolan with handling stolen property and negligently dealing with proceeds of crime; and Cachia with handling stolen property, negligently dealing with proceeds of crime and drug offences.

The July 29 incident left a 96-year woman traumatised after her late husband’s World War II medals and Royal Australian Air Force log books were stolen.
