Members of the Echuca Swimming Club after the weekends meet.

ECHUCA Swimming Club held its summer swim meet at EWMAC on Sunday.

With all four seasons presenting itself throughout the day, the indoor swimming pool complex provided relief for the competitors, with 26 competitors taking to the pool.

Lara Judd swam exceptionally well, winning gold in all five races with personal best times for 100m butterfly and 200m mixed individual medley.

Tricia Sambrooks also dominated her events earning gold in all her four races.

Kynan Batey, Ruby Morley, Ashleigh O’Neill, Kyle Scott and Angus Watson also produced strongly at the event, medalling in every event they entered.

Congratulations to our other stand out swimmers Coby Morgan, Jack Morley and Ayla Wise who achieved personal best times for all events they competed in.

The club wishes to congratulate and welcome new swimmers Lauren O’Dea and Tilli-Rose Peters who both swam very well at their first swim meet.

The club was lucky enough to have Melbourne Vic Centre Swimming Club’s coach Brad Harris take the Echuca swimmers for a training clinic the afternoon before the meet.

It was a fun afternoon of competitive swimming to warm them up for the big day.

Thanks to all the hardworking committee, parents, coaches and terrific team of kids who helped make the summer swim meet a huge success.
