STEPS makes strides for those in need

December 04, 2017

Members and volunteers at STEPS celebrated their 20th Birthday on Wednesday

HAPPY 20th Birthday to STEPS.

STEPS celebrated its anniversary with a catch-up and some sausages at Uniting Church on Wednesday. The Echuca-based volunteer organisation services disadvantaged people in the region. It is one of the many affiliates of Australian Hands on Health Association to assist people who cannot afford health services, primarily chiropractors.

Those eligible to receive services need to have health care concession cards.

STEPS also offers a drop-in centre for people which provides a welcoming environment for people to meet, have a drink and a snack.

All these services are free.

STEPS is based in the lower hall at the Uniting Church in Echuca.

It operates Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 1.30pm.
