THERE is no better way to get into the Christmas spirit than the Epicentre Christmas Spectacular.

This annual event is growing each year and organiser Narelle Smythe said it really was a true celebration of family and Christmas.

“It is a great family night and we cater for as many people as we possibly can,’’ she said

‘‘Christmas is such a happy time and family is so important at this time of the year.

‘‘We try to keep it all as local as possible.’’

The event will be held at the Moama Recreation Reserve on Sunday, December 10 and includes a children’s and youth festival in the lead up to the main event.

Food stalls and activities will be on show for all to enjoy and 16 of our homegrown musicians will sing all your favourite songs throughout the night.

The children and youth event will kick off at 5.30pm and run to 7pm and includes an animal farm, jumping castle, food and drink.

The main festival gets underway at 7.30pm and features carols, live artwork dances and a fireworks show before wrapping up about 9.30pm.

Candles and glow sticks will be available on the night.

Entry to the event is free but gold coin donations are welcome on the night.

Bring your own picnic rug and chairs and sit back and relax and enjoy this spectacular community event.
