AND so this is Christmas...

At least it will be on Sunday at the Moama Recreation Reserve when the Epicentre Christmas Spectacular holds its annual carols event.

Food stalls and activities will be available and 16 of our homegrown musicians will sing all your favourite songs throughout the night.

The children and youth event will kick off at 5.30pm and run until 7pm and includes an animal farm, jumping castle, food and drink.

The main event starts at 7.30pm and features carols, live artwork dances and a fireworks show before wrapping up about 9.30pm.

Candles and glow sticks will be available on the night.

Murray River Council recently decided to provide $3000 to the event which has been running for the past six years, attracts about 4000 people and costs about $30,000 to run.

Entry to the event is free but gold coin donations are welcome on the night.
