GET READY ECHUCA: Organisers predict Cinema Pop Up will be a hit with people living in Echuca-Moama.

AN OUTDOOR movie experience will arrive in Echuca in January.

And the best part?

The event is free if you book online.

Cinema Pop Up will be held at Victoria Park from Thursday, January 11 until Sunday, January 14.

Event director Kate Hardwick she was ‘‘really exciting’’ about the event.

‘‘It’s an experience we hope everyone gets behind and supports the four nights it is in town,’’ she said.

‘‘There will be food trucks, a bar and free activities for everyone, so we encourage families to come along early and enjoy dinner and drinks outdoors before the movie kicks of at nightfall.’’

Tickets are limited and available for free when booking online. Gates open at 6pm with the movies to start at nightfall.

Food and drinks are not allowed to be brought in but will be available for purchase.

Supported by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), Toyota and Prime Super, tickets are available for purchase at the gate from only $10 for adults and $5 for children, however, if you book online, tickets are free.

Cinema Pop Up is the largest outdoor regional cinema operator in Victoria, with pop ups running throughout regional Victoria all summer.

The road show will feature the following movies:

■ Thursday, January 11 - Big Hero 6, PG

■ Friday, January 12 – Dodgeball: A true underdog story, PG

■ Saturday, January 13 - The Lego Batman Movie, PG

■ Sunday, January 14 – Step Brother’s, MA
