A HOON was fined for doing burn-outs in Moama last week.
About 11.15pm last Friday, police were patrolling Moama after reports of vehicles doing burn-outs.
Police said soon after they stopped and spoke to a 26-old-Moama man parked in a carpark in Council St.
‘‘There was a strong smell of burnt oil and rubber and there were numerous burn-out marks on a nearby roadway,’’ Inspector Paul Huggett said.
‘‘Police, armed with witness accounts to the burn-outs, issued the male a number of infringement notices for conducting burn-outs and using an unregistered/uninsured vehicle.’’
