Map showing the closure of Warren St and the proposed detour

VICROADS have confirmed stage two of the Echuca-Moama Bridge Project will commence early next month.

Warren St will be upgraded between the Murray Valley Hwy and the Campaspe River Bridge, meaning Warren St will be closed to traffic from early March 2018 to the middle of next year.

Stage two of the project includes a new roundabout west of Campaspe Esplanade, new service roads for access to Warren St, four new bridges, bus stop upgrades and a new off-road walking and cycling path.

VicRoads said access to Warren St will be maintained for residents, emergency services and the Echuca Cemetery for the entire project, but there will be changes to the way people enter and leave their properties.

There will be construction equipment along Warren St and trees will be removed to make way for major works.

Detours will also be in place during the works and any changes will be communicated to residents before they occur.
