Satisfaction survey calls start today

February 05, 2018

GANNAWARRA Shire residents will begin receiving phone calls today from an independent market research agency called National Field Services.

Gannawarra Shire mayor Brian Gibson said this company has been appointed to conduct a community satisfaction survey on behalf of council.

“Council is continually looking at how we can improve our service delivery,” he said.

“The information we get from this community satisfaction survey assists us to see what we are doing well and where improvements can be made.”

The survey has been designed to assess the performance of the Gannawarra Shire Council across a range of measures to identify ways to provide improvement or more effective service delivery to residents.

More than 60 Victorian council’s will be undertaking similar surveys over the coming months.

“Residents will be asked to provide feedback on a range of council service areas, such as community consultation, roads, waste, customer service, tourism and overall council performance,” Cr Gibson said.

“Council will only receive the overall results from the survey company so please be assured any personal details and individual responses will remain confidential.”

The survey will involve approximately 400 interviews conducted among a representative sample of residents.

“We really appreciate residents taking the time to assist council with your valuable feedback,” Cr Gibson said.
