POLICE have ruled out any wrongdoing after two boys were approached in Moama this week.
An appeal for information went out on Tuesday after a man offered the 12-year-olds a lift on Perricoota Rd about 8am.
Moama police and Deniliquin detectives fully investigated the incident and spoke with the driver of the ute.
‘‘There was no malicious intent on his behalf, as he saw that one of the boy’s bikes had a flat tyre as such he attempted to help,’’ Inspector Paul Huggett of Deniliquin police said.
‘‘Please remain vigilant and continue to educate your children on the ‘Safe People, Safe Places’ messages.’’
