IT’S the biggest music event of the year for Echuca-Moama, attracting 6000 people, and this weekend it arrives.
Kasey Chambers will headline a stellar line-up as part of Riverboats Music Festival alongside Neil and Liam Finn and Josh Pyke.
Other acts include the Black Sorrows with Vika and Linda Bull, the Teskey Brothers, Henry Wagons and the Only Children and Gawurra.
Rockwiz’s Brian Nankervis will returns as the event’s MC.
This is the sixth year of the festival which is held at the Aquatic Reserve.
But director David Frazer said he was just as excited as if it were the first.
‘‘Riverboats 2018 will present arguably the festivals most eclectic and exciting line-up to date and it has been a dream of ours to welcome Neil and Liam Finn to the festival for many years,’’ Mr Frazer said.
‘‘To be presenting phenomenal artists alongside Australian icons including Kasey Chambers and Josh Pyke is something we are incredibly proud of.’’
The much loved annual festival breakfast returns to the Beechworth Bakery on Sunday from 9.30am-11.30am.
