A man used a stolen credit card to buy $95 worth of goods from an Echuca supermarket on February 18.

POLICE are appealing for help to find a man who stole a credit card and bought several items with it during the Riverboats Music Festival weekend.

Senior Constable Simon O’Toole of Echuca police said a woman staying at a holiday park in High St left her purse on her car overnight on February 17.

‘‘Her credit card was stolen and at 7.10am on the Sunday (February 18), her card was used to buy $95 worth of goods from a local supermarket,’’ he said.

Police have released an image of a man using the stolen credit card in the hope someone may recognise him.

The man is believed to be aged in his mid-40s, wearing a long-sleeved blue and white flannelette shirt, shorts, runners and a bicycle helmet.

■In a separate matter, an unlocked ute was stolen from Echuca early Saturday.

Thieves stole the 2016 white duel cab Toyota Landcruiser parked in Ainsley Court.

The ute, registration 1HW5NR, has a bullbar and white steel tray, with a red toolbox in the tray.

Anyone with information about any of these incidents can contact Echuca police on 54831500 or Crime Stoppers on 1800333000.
