BROOKE Glennen is no stranger to accolades.

Throughout her studies at Whitehouse Institute of Design she received plenty of recognition.

She was crowned designer of the year in styling and creative direction in 2014, student of the year in styling and creative direction in 2015 and designer of the year in styling and creative direction in 2016.

In 2017 Brooke launched By Brooke Creative with her mum.

And after just one year of business, Brooke’s products received national industry recognition with the My Mindful Child achieving product of the year 2018 at the recent Gift and Life Instyle Gala Awards.

Brooke creates bespoke giftware ranges embracing handmade techniques to create meaningful keepsakes for children and parents.

Inspired by her nurtured upbringing, Brooke said she hopes her products and passion for childhood mindfulness will help shape a generation of happy and healthy minds.

It was while studying that Brooke discovered her passion for wellness and design.

“I began designing the products while studying and turning it into a business was a logical next step,” she said.

“I hope the products provide parents with the chance to form lasting connections with children and introduce mindful practices in early childhood.

“I want young children to experience the love and wellness that helps shape a generation of healthy and happy minds.”

Brooke said she was extremely surprised by the positive feedback and award she had received.

“It’s all going really well. I have 25 stockists and I’m very surprised and excited about the direction I’m heading,” she said.

“Working with my mum has been an amazing support. It was a steep learning curve but with her support I’m well on my way.”
