Show finals are coming to Rich River Golf Club

FOR the first time in 17 years, the Northern District Agricultural Show (NDAS) regional finals will make their way to the twin towns.

More than 150 people are expected at Rich River Golf Club on Saturday night for the event hosted by the Echuca Moama Show Society.

All the usual suspects will be there, including cakes, photography, knitting and crochet, sewing and woodwork.

Plus there’ll be Show Teenager and Junior Rural Ambassador competitions, with entrants judged on grooming, speaking and contributions to the local community.

‘‘In addition to NDAS entries, there’ll also be judging for the Victorian Agricultural Show,’’ local coordinator Kerri Whitney said. ‘‘Anyone who wins those will compete in the Royal Melbourne Show.

Locals can see the entries before the winners are announced by dropping into Rich River Golf Club at 5.30pm on Saturday, April 14.
