FORGET Antiques Roadshow.

Echuca Moama Family History Group is bringing a conservation clinic and appraisal day for treasured or historical objects right here to the twin towns.

The workshop will be conducted by Detlev Lueth, assistant director of preservation and digitisation at the National Archives of Australia.

Backed by decades of experience, Mr Lueth will offer priceless advice on how to conserve your priceless objects.

People are encouraged to bring a wide range of items — old documents, books, medals, certificates, contracts, land titles, silver items, pocket watches, works of art, cemetery records, church registers of baptisms, marriages and burials, flags, uniforms or sporting club memorabilia.

The workshop will be held at the Anglican Church of St James parish centre on Saturday, April 21 at 1.30pm.

Mr Lueth will be there for at least two hours.

For more information call Judy McCleary on 0408335186.
