CROSSENVALE Community House is looking for people who want to make a difference in the community.

Co-ordinator Sheridan Clark said the Neighbourhood House was moving forward and providing more support to the community than ever before, so it was seeking passionate community members interested in social justice, community development and breaking down the barriers for residents in disadvantaged areas of Echuca.

‘‘We are a great team here with our co-ordinator, committee of management and volunteers. We are now looking for new, creative, passionate board members who are interested in assisting our house in improving and growing as a Neighbourhood House in Echuca,’’ she said.

If you are interested in strategic planning and governance, leadership, community development and creating positive change through the broader community, the house is seeking general committee members, as well as chairperson, vice chairperson and treasurer who have previous experience in committee of management.

The house will require one to two hours of your time every second Wednesday of each month at 5pm.
