SIMBA has been waiting 64 days to find his pride.

And he would happily be the next lion king in his new family.

He is a three-year-old desexed, domestic medium hair mixed breed who is available for adoption from the Campaspe Animal Shelter.

Simba is full of character and loves nothing more than to charge around investigating his space.

He will need to go to a home where he is the only cat as he prefers to be the only feline.

Simba will also require regular grooming to help keep his soft coat clean and tangle free.

He has previously had the cat flu and although this condition usually resolves without complications, in some instances the cat may remain a carrier of the disease and it may recur in the future.

Simba will be a great addition to any sized family who is looking for an outgoing furry family member.

If you would like to arrange a meet and greet with Simba or any of the animals at the shelter contact the team on 54803006 or visit campaspeanimalshelter.com.au

The shelter is at capacity and is waiving adoption fees for all felines for today only.

Simba is otherwise available for $50.

There are currently no dogs available for adoption.
