As club football gets back into full swing and Auskick programs begin, AFL Goulburn Murray wants to see a boost in numbers.In a bid to do so, the region’s governing body will host a holiday program at Echuca Primary School on Thursday starting at 9am.The program is targeted at primary school children, with all levels of ability and experience welcome.‘‘We want to attract new people to our game,’’ football development manager Trevor Mellington said.‘‘Thursday is an opportunity for kids to come and try something that may be a little different.‘‘The program is all about having those kids filter through to Auskick and junior clubs.’’Mellington said programs could take place across the region in future school holidays.All participants will receive a free football jumper as part of $70 program.There will also be prizes and giveaways throughout the day.Anyone interested in registering can head to www.aflgoulburnmurray.com.au and follow the links.
