Now KIAN has released his latest track.
Childism is the young Brownfield’s first song following the massive success of his song Waiting.
After taking out triple j Unearthed High, coming in at number 20 on triple j’s Hottest 100 Countdown, a J Award nomination and most recently going double platinum, Waiting saw KIAN become an instant success.
Now with legions of fans behind him, KIAN premiered Childism on the triple j breakfast show and had numerous texts and calls of praise.
Throughout his latest track, KIAN talks about the frustrations he feels as a teenager.
‘‘Wake up, eat, school, repeat/Wake up just to fall asleep/No idea what I wanna be,’’ the 16-year-old sings.
With an RnB feel and a smooth melody behind it, KIAN’s voice is soothing and calming. The track discusses a range of complex teenage issues which are sure to be relatable to his listeners.
The Castlemaine teen, whose family live in Echuca, recently made his way through the country as part of Laneway festival. He is set to head to the UK in May for The Great Escape festival.
