On Thursday of last week the Club was pleased to welcome June Hoge and Rita Jenkins as representatives of the Goulburn Valley Croquet Association.
June and Rita explained the new golf croquet rules which came into force at the start of January.
The club was pleased that over 30 members attended to hear the explanation of the new rules affecting the game world-wide.
Numbers were down on Tuesday due to the extreme heat, but 11 members came to play doubles and a trio.
Two players won three games and it was a very close result.
Jim Gunn took the honours on a nett +12 hoops from Anne Dodd on +11.
From now until the end of February golf croquet has the new start time of 8am for registration of names with play commencing at 8.30am, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The club is always happy to welcome new members and visitors.
