Funds raised on the premiere night of Downton Abbey will go to the McGrath Foundation to provide breast care nurses in communities around the country.
After the success of the 2010 British television series, the cast will venture their way onto the big screen for the first time in this feature-length film.
The movie continues the story of the Crawley family, wealthy owners of a large estate in the English countryside in the early 20th century.
The family have had many well-known visitors cross their doorstep, but no one as important as the monarchy.
The family and their team downstairs must put their struggles of moving with the changing times on the back burner and focus on their important house guests.
The film will be shown at the Paramount Theatre from 7pm. Light supper and coffee will be provided after the viewing.
Tickets will be available for $17 each and can be purchased at the theatre prior to the film.
