Library services manager Jenny Mustey said this is a great chance for community group representatives to promote their group to people who have recently moved here, retired or those looking to be more involved with their community.
“The last event, held in April 2019, was an overwhelming success with 586 people browsing and engaging with 56 community groups and clubs,” Mrs Mustey said.
“This is a rare opportunity for groups to have such a large volume of potential new members in one location.
“The evening offers the public the chance to have an informal chat with group members and receive some information about their meetings, activities and events.”
A free sausage sizzle with tea and coffee will be available on the night.
“The library is the perfect location for the event, as it is an essential community hub and we are keen to show new residents the many programs and services we offer,” Mrs Mustey said.
“Groups and clubs based in Echuca-Moama are encouraged to bring one or two representatives along with any promotional or informative material they have.”
The evening will be held on Wednesday, March 18 from 5pm to 8pm at the Campaspe Regional Library.
Community groups wanting to register need to fill in an application form by Friday, February 28.
