In what was its 11th loss of the season, Violet Town failed to get going against the Redlegs, which dominated its opponents on the scoreboard, 62-19.
The Towners will look to its round 15 clash against Avenel as a potential win for the club, with both teams sitting 13th and 10th respectively.
It is the first of two meetings Violet Town has with the Swans in the final three matches of the Kyabram District League netball season, with the winner of the first clash likely favourites for the second.
And with finals off the cards for Violet Town this season, it will be looking to finish its fixture strongly to carry momentum into the new year.
●In Violet Town’s earlier matches, B-grade lost its match-up against the Redlegs, 21-67, while C-grade suffered just as big of a loss, going down by 44 goals.
And in Violet Town’s sole juniors’ match, the Under-15s couldn’t match it with its Tally counterparts and fell to a 16-50 defeat.
