Numbers were slightly due to other major shoots in the region, but the club was happy to see new shooters join for the day, including three from Sunraysia Field and Game making the trip.
Swan Hill's Chris Charleson has been on his game recently, with this day no exception - Charleson claiming the high gun with the best score off-the-gun (before handicap is added) of 68 out of 75.
Charleson shot 22 in the first round, 22 in the second round, and sealed the deal with 24 in the last round.
All other scores had their handicaps added, varying from 0 to 9 depending on the shooters grade.
Two targets behind Chris was local Ricky Keirl who claimed AA grade with 69/75.
Locals Nick Dean (A) with 65, Emma Keirl (ladies) with 73, Bianca Norris (juniors) on 62, and Izzy Keirl (sub juniors) on 72 also claimed their sections.
The club is now looking forward to our 28th Anniversary shoot which will be held on October 20.
The shoot will be a 100 target event shot over two days.
The club's come and try day on Saturday, November 16 at 10.30am is also edging closer, the club is excited to welcome some new faces.
No shooters licence required, but photo ID and enclosed toe shoes are a must.
This is open to anyone aged 12 and older, though participants under 18 need a parent or guardian present.
