Conor Grace, Chris Hargreaves, Sam Bongiorno, Callum Nott and William Legge will take on a six-day trek from Mildura to Melbourne, starting tomorrow, in support of the fight against Motor Neurone Disease — a condition that has personally affected them all.
‘‘We are acutely aware of the damage that the disease causes,’’ they said.
‘‘We hope to embody FightMND’s mantra – to cure, to care, to make aware. We ride for those who can’t.’’
Starting in Mildura, the friends will cycle into Echuca on Easter Saturday, where people can join them for a drink at The American Hotel at 5pm.
The next day, people are invited to join them or see them off at 7.30am from The American for the first leg of their day’s ride from Echuca towards Daylesford.
They will head to the Great Ocean Road, Apollo Bay and Anglesea and Sorrento before finally arriving in Melbourne.
